In My Seat - A Story of 9/11

A Pilot's Story (Peter Scheibner) from Sept 10th - 11th.  He has a powerful testimony about the providence and grace of God. Please take the time to watch this video -- it's very powerful.

Will you remember to pray for the families of the 9/11 victims today?

A Worldview Challenge from Charity

Hey guys! My friend Charity Anne from Footprints in the Sand is having a giveaway! But it's not just any giveaway: it comes with a challenge. On her worldview blog, Think Hard Think Well, she has challenged everybody to write an essay answering this question....

Do you believe it is right for Christians to break the law of the land under certain circumstances?

Go HERE to read the full instructions or if you have any questions about it for her. The giveaway is a surprise, and I'm sure it will be awesome!

An essay is really not as hard as it sounds. It's basically just three paragraphs with an introduction and concluding paragraph! You can do this! And it would be so worthwhile! I encourage you all to think about accepting this challenge. The deadline for the essay is November 2, 2010, so get going on it!

Just to be Clear =)

Thank you so much to everyone who took the survey! (If you haven't yet, I'd still love to hear your opinions! You can take it HERE.) Your advise and suggestions were really helpful! I am planning to implement many of them here very soon. =)

I want to make one thing clear, though: You don't have to comment on all of my posts. I really was just wanting to see if anyone was reading my blog. Well now I know! Please don't feel like you have to comment just to make me happy or to keep me blogging - that's not the message I was trying to get across at all! Yes, I love comments, but I don't blog for comments. I blog for Jesus Christ, and this is a place where I can share about what He is doing through me.

With that said, I want you all to know that I do have some neat posts planned, but just be patient as I will be making some changes (hopefully) to this blog! Most of you all said that you would like me to post more. My goal will be to post about once a week once I get my blog all "settled in" after I implement all of your suggestions.

Again, THANK YOU! to you all who took the survey! I appreciate it so much!!!!

In Christ,
Chloe

The Christmas Tree

The
Christmas
tree reminds
us of the Christ;
its top pointing to
heaven, its lights denoting
the Light of the World, and all
the presents beneath it reminding us
that every good gift comes from above.
Thanks
be to
God!

Note: Want a laugh? Check out this article. I sure feel sorry for those reindeer, though!

Like Women of the Bible

Like Deborah, I will serve the Lord in power and speak His word without fear.
Like Esther, I will intercede for God's people before the throne.
Like Abigail, I will humble myself to wash the feet of the servants of the Lord.
Like Sarah, I will respect my spouse and his ministry to the Lord.
Like Hannah, I will dedicate my children to the Lord.
Like Priscilla, I will explain the way of God more perfectly to those who are seeking.
Like the Shuanamite widow, I will trust God in the day of adversity.
Like Lydia, I will be a worshiper of God and open my home to His ministers.
Like Tabitha (Dorcas), I will always do good and help the poor.
Like Joanna, I will use my wealth to support the ministry of Jesus.
Like Mary, the mother of Jesus, I will hear the word of God to me and answer,
"Be it unto me as you have said."
Like Mary, the sister of Martha, I will know the voice of Jesus and hear His words.
Like Mary, the mother of Mark, I will make my home a haven for the followers of Jesus.
Like Mary, the Magdalene, I will keep at the feet of Jesus and love Him until death.
